Tetouan Park, the zone operated and managed by Tanger Med Zones, recently welcomed a new Industrial Operator, Japanese Tobacco International Company (JTI).
The multinational conglomerate, specializing in tobacco products, decided to invest 30 Million EURO to construct its newest plant at Tetouan Park, which spans over a surface area of 4,7 Ha, and is set to create 500 new jobs at full capacity.
The new plant is also expected to produce 2 billion cigarettes annually, dedicated primarily to the local market.
